This pendant features a coyote in motion, carefully hand-carved to capture the lean, alert character of the animal. The design is then kiln-fired, creating a solid piece with subtle texture and depth that highlights the details of the original carving.
Clever, watchful, and deeply tied to the wild, the coyote has long been a powerful symbol in the traditions of many Indigenous cultures of North America. Often seen as a trickster and teacher, the coyote represents intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to survive and thrive in changing environments.
Each necklace is handmade in my Florida studio, where the carving, casting, and finishing are done in small batches using traditional artisan techniques. The result is a unique piece of wearable art that reflects both the spirit of the animal and the hand of the maker.
A meaningful piece for lovers of wildlife, the American West, and ancient animal symbolism, the coyote necklace carries the spirit of independence, resilience, and quiet intelligence.
Because each piece is individually handmade, slight variations make every pendant unique.
