This Hanuman pendant is hand carved and hand painted with enamel and gold leaf.
Hunaman is the Monkey god. He is the Hindu god of Strength, Celibacy, Knowledge and Bhakti (devotion to one supreme being); Lord of Victory, Supreme destroyer of evil; and protector of devotees.
On this pendant he is depicted carrying the Himalayan mountain where a special healing herb can be found. Not knowing which herb it is among many, he brings the entire mountain back.
