I created them using a mold taken from an antique Grand Tour cameo, preserving the timeless elegance of the original intaglio. Hera, goddess of marriage and women, was celebrated in ancient Greece for her wisdom, authority, and beauty.
During the 18th–19th centuries, images of Hera were sought-after mementos for travelers on the Grand Tour, embodying the grandeur of classical antiquity.
 
Each earring is cast in jeweler’s gold bronze and hand-finished to highlight the fine, classical details. The warm bronze tone and oval frame evoke the look of a treasured heirloom, while gold-filled ear wires provide lasting comfort and durability.
