This handcrafted pendant brings to life one of the most evocative myths of ancient Greece—Hermes slaying the hundred-eyed giant Argus to rescue the nymph Io. A faithful reproduction of a 17th-century Grand Tour cameo, the scene is sculpted in rich relief, capturing the fluid motion of Hermes, the watchful yet doomed Argus, and the anguished figure of Io transformed into a heifer.

Each detail is carefully hand-cast in jeweler’s gold bronze and finished to evoke the timeless character of classical antiquity. The composition pays tribute not only to the myth itself but to the neoclassical revival that once captivated European travelers on their journeys through Italy.
