Born in 1412 in the French village of Domrémy, Joan of Arc believed she was called by God to help free France during the Hundred Years' War. At only seventeen years old, she inspired the French army to a series of remarkable victories, changing the course of history. Captured by enemy forces, she was condemned and burned at the stake in 1431. Nearly five centuries later, she was canonized as a saint and remains a powerful symbol of bravery, perseverance, and unwavering conviction.
Each pendant begins as an original sculpture, meticulously hand-carved and kiln-fired in solid jeweler gold bronze in my Florida studio. After firing, every pendant is hand-finished, polished, and signed on the back, preserving the crisp details of the original carving. Because each piece is individually made by hand, every pendant is a unique work of wearable art.
