Hand sculpted orthodox cross pendant with embedded garnet.

The orthodox cross is a variation of the Christian cross since the 6th century in the Byzantine Empire.

This is a square cross with clover tip shape ends.

A cross with three circles or discs on each arm in a Christian context represents the Holy Trinity but was probably also copied from earlier Celtic Druidry, where the circles or rings represent the three dominions of earth, sky and sea.

• Hand carved solid yellow bronze also called jeweler gold bronze cross.

• 5 (five) embedded 2mm garnets.

• Soldered bail on top

• The cross is about 1".

• 14k gold filled chain.

• Gold filled has 100 times more gold than plated thus does not rub or peel off.

• Nickel free
